A road transport operator based in Ouagadougou ordered 6 ex-army flatbed trailers to expand its fleet of road tractors. Delivery via the Lomé–Ouagadougou corridor.
Context
The Burkinabé market for mining materials transport (gold, manganese) is booming. Our client, a road transport operator since 2010, wanted to expand their fleet of flatbed trailers to meet mining equipment transport contracts.
Selected trailers
6 flatbed trailers 20 tonnes ex-French army, tandem bogies, with side curtains and tie-down system. Equipment compliant with French and European road standards (ADR, R55 approval).
Overhaul: axle check, brake pads, lights and connectors, standard grey paint.
Transit via Lomé
As Burkina Faso is landlocked, Lys Tout Terrain chose the Lomé–Ouagadougou corridor (faster than Abidjan–Ouaga in dry season):
